Welcome to the Maryland Capital Chapter of ABWA!

 Our mission at ABWA is to bring together women of diverse occupations and to provide opportunities for them to help themselves and others grow personally and professionally through leadership, education, networking support, and national recognition.

We believe the people make the organization. We support women of all ages, ethnicities, and businesses.  Meet some of the fascinating women on our board.

We Mean More Than Just Business

 Rather, we know that good business means risk taking, exploring, discovering, learning, and giving back to the community. At ABWA, we try to encompass all these facets and more. That's why we continually provide new outlets for creativity and growth, networking, and annually award scholarships, tuition reimbursements, and much more to help local woman continue their education.

Each year, we are able to use the funds we raise from our Fashion Show to provide tuition reimbursement and scholarships to women in our area.  Last year we gave over $10,000, and hope to increase that amount every year!

Every woman in our organization is special, but we have some who go above and beyond in their commitment to the chapter and the community.  We will recognize and honor them at a special chapter event.
